What is the latest news from Shure?

If you think the Shure SE535 Special Edition that just launched not too long ago is the latest news from Shure then you are very outdated.

Recently there is some buzz on the net about the latest open back headphone from Shure. Yes, it's their first open back headphone just like how the SRH840, SRH440 range are their first headphones. Looking from the pictures, their designs does looks a bit like a mix and match of STAX Omega SR-007, Beyerdynamic T1, T50P/DT1350 and Hifiman HE-300 combo. Wow those are some of the world most renowned brand and with lots of reputation on the mentioned model. I'm wondering what is the outcome would be from a design that carries the looks of so many high end headphones. Lot's of headfier hope that their first open back headphone will be in the same league as the HD650,DT880,K701 and their own Shure SRH940. Just keep your finger cross.

There are still no information on the pricing yet, but the only known things is the launch date will be on December 6. Most probably it will be launched in Japan first before other countries as the twitter come from Shure Japan. Really do hope someone will purchases it as soon as it is launch and give some impression on how it sounds for their first open back headphones. It's time to see if they are able to pitch against their very successful first headphone, the Shure SRH440 and SRH840 and hold the title of Legendary Performance.
