Possibility of Moving to a New Website

To All Reader,

There are possibility of moving this blogs to a new website. With the new website, there will be more content and will not be restricted to audiophile products alone. We are still currently researching and reviewing possible hosting sites and blogging platform that will allow us to have better customization and more professional theme. If there is any confirmation of the changes may be done by today. All post will still be retain with the exception of maybe random posting. It would be very helpful if there is any suggestion or comments on whether if we should move to a new website.  

Hippo Gumstick~ Class A Amp Inside.

It really makes me wonder if this so called one of the best budget portable player could really defeat the iPod. I've been testing both the iPod classic 80GB and hippo Gumstick for quite a while now and I still can’t find out whether if this mp3 player is really that good. To be fair, I’m running both ampless to test the performance and I think my iPod is not even running on the wolfson chips on older generation’s iPod. The results to be honest, I still do not find it better than an iPod. It is however you can say that they are more or less on the same level.

cMoy or Chu Moy is one of the most popular DIY amplifiers because of their easy to build with highly customizable and low cost designs. Over the years, there are many variants of cMoy including the JDS Labs’s  cMoy design which have being heavily redesign over the original cMoy amplifier, other designs that use wire with gain which doesn’t have PCB boards (a direct wiring designs) and even cMoy that have been redesigns to use tubes.

Merry Christmas to Everyone

This is the first time this blog celebrates Christmas and so I would like to wish Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone who celebrates Christmas and to those who does not celebrate Christmas a Happy Holiday to you. Just to let you know a few headphone related company will shut down their operation for a few days in favor of  celebrating Christmas. This include JHAudio and JDS Labs. There maybe others as well but I do not know how many more are shutting down their operation as well.

Also don't forget to look under your trees tomorrow. Who know what you might find under them. If you do find the things you wish for, then you might be in the Santa's nice list for this year. If you didn't received it this year, don't be disappointed, next year you can still put them inside the shopping list of your loved one or friends so they would know what you want for Christmas.

Holidays Guide From Jaben

The month of December is the month of giving especially for those who celebrates Christmas. With Christmas around the corner, I believe most of you already have your shopping list ready. So have you been nice this year or are you going to be in Santa’s naughty list? If you can’t get a gifts from Santa this year, maybe you can ask your closest friend, parents or anyone close to you to give some headphones. Don’t forget to put in “Headphones” in their shopping list. What is more pleasing than a headphone for an audiophile or music lovers?
